No. 25 Texas A&M (22-12, 5-6 SEC) defeated No. 4 Tennessee (28-3, 8-2 SEC), 3-1, Saturday at Davis Diamond in College Station, Texas.
Saturday’s contest is the second of a three-game Southeastern Conference series between the Lady Vols and Aggies.
The Lady Vols were victorious, 2-1 in 10 innings, Friday in the series opener.
Ahead of this week’s softball games, the latest USA TODAY/NFCA Division I Coaches Poll was released. The Lady Vols are ranked No. 4, while Texas A&M is No. 25.
