Twitter explodes over Florida football’s Week 3 win over Tennessee
Saturday night’s Southeastern Conference East division matchup between Florida football and the Tennessee Volunteers in the Swamp turned out to be an epic one for the home team, which prevailed, 29-16, despite the odds favoring the visitors.
It was a huge game for Billy Napier and the program as an abundance of prep prospects were in attendance to witness the Gators’ victory in the last game played between the two in the SEC’s current divisional format. The win also took a little pressure off the head coach, whose seat might have caught fire if the Orange and Blue were embarrassed.
Following the win, the Gator Nation broke out in celebration, sharing its elation on social media despite the late-night finish; many waited until morning to bask in the glory. Below is a sampling from Twitter of the many positive reactions to Florida’s Week 3 win.
