Tuesday's Top Prep Performers: Three volleyball teams finish as unbeaten league champions

Highlights from Tuesday in high school sports:

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

  • UCLA commit Kate Duffey finished with 35 assists, 12 digs and six kills, Sophia Sletten had 14 kills and 10 digs, Chloe Simpson contributed 21 digs, and Gigi Scaglia and Daphne Raymond each had nine kills as Ventura outlasted Santa Barbara in five sets, 23-25, 26-24, 15-25, 25-20, 15-7, to finish the regular season as unbeaten Channel League champions. The Cougars (25-4, 14-0) are expected to be the No. 1 seed in Division 5 when the CIF-SS playoffs are announced Saturday.

  • Emma Robinson had 11 kills, Madelyn Downen had 10 kills, Maggie Rhew finished with 35 assists and seven digs, Hannah Brady had six digs, Manaia Ogbechie had nine kills and three blocks, Delilah Davis had three blocks, and Brooke Gilmour had eight kills and three aces as Oaks Christian swept Westlake 25-16, 25-16, 25-14 to finish the season as unbeaten Marmonte League champions. The Lions (20-7, 10-0) went unbeaten in league play for the third straight season.

  • Sarah Shaw had 24 kills, four blocks and two digs, Reagan Maguire finished with 46 assists and three digs, Emily Morge had eight kills and six digs, Makenna Hawkins had 12 digs, eight kills and three aces, Maddie Dodd had seven digs and three kills, and Maggie Kearin had nine digs and two aces as La Reina swept Cate 25-23, 25-12, 25-16 to finish the regular season as unbeaten Tri-Valley League champions. The Regents (25-5, 10-0) are expected to be a high seed in the Division 5 playoffs.

  • Valeria Ibarra finished with 30 assists, Leilah McDougald and Laney Ramirez each had 10 kills, and Ava Ordonez had eight digs and six aces, to lead Oxnard (13-17, 7-7) to a 25-20, 25-13, 25-19 sweep of Rio Mesa in a Channel League finale.

  • Viola Barrios had eight kills, Taylor Beller had six kills, Payton Sorensen compiled 18 digs, and Maddie Shay contributed 14 assists for Buena in its 25-17, 25-12, 25-22 loss to San Marcos in a Channel League finale.

  • Alexis O'Keefe had 12 kills, Joia McJimpson had 10 kills, Kiyomi Kohno finished with 21 assists, seven digs and three kills, and Devin Levy added 13 digs and three aces to lead Agoura to a 25-19, 25-13, 25-17 sweep of Calabasas in a Marmonte League match.

  • Thousand Oaks defeated Newbury Park 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 14-25, 15-13 in a Marmonte League match. Kenzie Holden had 18 kills, Charley Knupp had 10 kills and Keira Overbeck finished with 45 assists for the Panthers.

  • Soraya Forbes finished with 15 kills and two blocks, Kaitlin Logan had 12 kills, six digs and four aces, Maggie Daily had five blocks, four kills and two aces, and Sara Stoney had 10 digs and three aces to lead St. Bonaventure to a 25-22, 25-12, 13-25, 25-21 win over Laguna Blanca in a Tri-Valley League finale. The Seraphs finished the regular season 14-8 overall and 5-5 in league.

  • Morgan Houston had 20 assists, Channing McClure had six kills and Ashlyn Mullin had five digs for Foothill Tech in its 25-12, 25-18, 25-19 loss to Bishop Diego in a Tri-Valley League finale.

  • Hillcrest Christian defeated Beacon Hill 27-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-23 to finish the regular season 16-5 overall and clinch second place in the Omega League with a 7-2 mark to qualify for the CIF-SS playoffs.

GIRLS GOLF

  • Sunny Wang fired a 2-under 33 to earn medalist honors for the fourth time in her last five events and Ava Aye shot a 39 as Oaks Christian won the fifth Marmonte League tournament at Sunset Hills Country Club to clinch the league title with one league tournament left. The Lions shot a team total of 199, which was 17 shots better than second-place Westlake. Calabasas finished third with a 218. Lillian Spratt shot a 1-over 37 and Addison Kloch and Jayden Peters each shot a 40 for fourth-place Agoura (220). Thousand Oaks (266) placed fifth and Newbury Park (281) was sixth.

  • Lorne Rieman shot a 45, Natalie Jones had a 47, Ella Meyers and Jasmine Wanamaker each finished with a 48, and Mia Sinclair had a 50 to lead Ventura (8-2, 5-2) to a 238-248 win over Santa Barbara in a Channel league match at Santa Barbara Municipal Golf Course.

GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL

  • Camarillo defeated Royal 19-13 to improve to 11-7 overall and 4-2 in league.

  • Agoura defeated Ventura 30-21.

GIRLS TENNIS

  • Christina Vojtech swept her singles sets, 6-3, 6-4, 6-1, Ellie Lin won her singles sets at love, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, and the doubles team of Hannah Huang and Kaitlin Mayers swept its sets, 6-3, 6-0, 6-1, to lead Oaks Christian (7-4, 4-3) to a 15-3 victory over Thousand Oaks in a Marmonte League match.

  • Veorah Feddanich and Alisa Tran went undefeated in singles and Ava Gates, Emerson Entin, Lily Levy, Sophia Sokolsky and Mary Hatch went unbeaten in doubles to lead Agoura to a 15-3 win over Newbury Park in a Marmonte League match.

  • Oak Park defeated Royal 18-0 to improve to 13-1 overall and 5-0 in the Coastal Canyon League.

  • Camarillo defeated Moorpark 18-0 in a Coastal Canyon League match.
