Friday's Southwest Florida spring high school football updates
Spring football will wrap up in Southwest Florida tonight.
The 20 days of sanctioned practices usually end with a scrimmage game and most area teams are taking advantage. Yes, the games don't count. But be honest, you still want your team to win.
Here are reports from our reporters out in the field as The News-Press and Naples Daily News will be out watching and learning about our area teams as they get ready to dive into summer with the start of the "Real" football season only two months away.
Spring Football: A roundup of the games played Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
The first fall football practices are set for July 29 with the regular season slated to start Friday, Aug. 23.
