Oshkosh North Quadrangular

FOND DU LAC 78.5, KIMBERLY 72, OSHKOSH NORTH 67.5, APPLETON NORTH 48

Fond du Lac had first-place finishes in the 100 (Kalvin Mullins, :11.19), the 3,200 (Jonny Golke, 10:56.48), the 300 hurdles (Jacob Haller, :42.89), the 800 relay (1:33.10), the shot put (Matthew Rusch, 56-10), the high jump (Jacob Haller, 5-6) and the long jump (Ray Aguilar-Meza, 19-1).

Oshkosh North’s first-place finishes came in the 200 (Devon Williams, :23.00), the 400 (Devon Williams, :51.96), the 110 hurdles (Harrison Bell, :16.62) and the 400 relay (:44.29).

Appleton North had first-place finishes in the triple jump (Abraham Tomori, 40-5), the 3,200 relay (9:56.55), the 800 (Riley Szymik, 2:04.68) and the 1,600 (Jeremy Clark, 4:55.33).

Kimberly had first places in the pole vault (Alex Reichenberger, 14-9), the discus (Hunter Sprangers, 167-6) and the 1,600 relay (3:48.68).

In the girls meet, Laconia had first-place finishes in the 100 (Trinity Hammer, :12.96), the 800 (Marissa Johnson, 2:34.43), the 3,200 (Molly Duell, 11:25.34), the 400 relay (:53.74), the 800 relay (1:55.00), the 3,200 relay (10:24.32), the shot put (Mattie Isaac, 37-1) and the discus (Kinsly Laudolff, 94-2).

Kohler took first in the 1,600 (Claire Brotz, 5:50.93), the 1,600 relay (4:23.24) and the long jump (Sophia Kwacz, 15-1).

Howards Grove won the 200 (Eden Maranell, :26.73), the 400 (Eden Maranell, 1:01.06), the high jump (Layla Beaudoin, 4-10) and the triple jump (Eden Maranell, 34-9.5).

North Fond du Lac’s Morgan Fowler won the 300 hurdles (:49.74).

In the boys meet, Kohler had first-place finishes in the 400 (Henry Pociask, :53.42), the 800 (Davis Behler, 2:04.47), the 1,600 (Ben Regenitter, 4:46.01), the 3,200 (Ben Regennitter, 10:27.16), the 800 relay (1:34.77), the 1,600 relay (3:40.05) and the 3,200 relay (8:38.33).

Mayville’s first-place finishes came in the 100 (Logan Waas, :11.27). the 200 (Logan Waas, :23.07), the 300 hurdles (Joren Schlender, :44.48), the shot put (Cyle Laatsch, 46-10) and the discus (Hewsten Steger, 147-2).

Howards Grove won the 400 relay (:45.50).

North Fond du Lac’s Ethan Sadoff won the 110 hurdles (:16.36).

Sheboygan South won the high jump (Jacob Weidig, 5-10) and the triple jump (Jayden Wesaw, 38-5.5).

Sheboygan Area Lutheran’s John Cole won the long jump (19-0).

SOFTBALL

Oshkosh West 11, Hortonville 2

HORTONVILLE - The Wildcats banged 14 hits and hit four home runs in the victory over the Polar Bears.

Braelee Jodarski was 4-for-4, including two home runs and a triple. Kathryn Bergin was 3-for-3 with a homer, and Chloe Tritt hit a three-run home run. Laina Hammen and Emmy Reichenberger each added two hits.

Brianna Bougie got the win, pitching six innings and giving up two runs and four hits while striking out four and walking none.

Lomira 10, Campbellsport 0

LOMIRA - The Lions struck for a pair of runs in the third inning and plated seven more in the fourth before tacking on a 10th and final run in the fifth to close out the Cougars.

Nora Buske went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and the game-ending hit for Lomira. Trista Gassner also went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs and an RBI while also smacking a double. Savanna Frea had two hits in three at-bats with one run scored and one driven in. Eleanor Collies had an RBI hit and Morgan Schroeder also recorded a hit for the Lions.

Kinsley Homuth and Maia Morgan each had a hit for Campbellsport.

Haleigh Caspary pitched all five innings and earned the win for Lomira, giving up a walk while striking out three.

Lomira 12, Omro 0

LOMIRA - With a 3-0 lead in the third, the Lions plated seven runs to blow the game wide open.

Nora Buske pitched a combined no-hitter along with Eleanor Collies. Buske went three innings, walked two batters and struck out eight while Collies finished the final two innings and struck out a pair.

At the plate, Buske helped her own cause with a triple and a home run in three at-bats, driving in a pair of runs and scoring twice. Taylor Bloohm went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Gassner also finished 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and another pair driven in. Marie Steinman was a perfect 3-for-3 with a run scored and another driven in. Caspary tripled and collected an RBI. Frea also tripled, scored and had two RBIs.

Madi Brooks took the loss for the Foxes, surrendering three walks and three earned runs.

St. Mary Catholic 16, Oshkosh Lourdes 1

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs scored seven runs in the first inning and followed with nine in the second to coast to a quick victory.

Eight of St. Mary Catholic’s starters recorded hits in the three-inning game and SMC collected 11 total as a team, while Lourdes committed six errors, resulting in eight unearned runs.

Nevaeh Saringer led the way with three RBIs and the trio of Chloe Vogel, Rhiannon Reichenbacher and Sammi Weiss drove in two runs apiece.

Lourdes scored its lone run in the second inning when Ella Slusarski led off with a double and then scored on a two-out single by Rayne Laufer.

For the game, Schneider finished 1-for-3 with two runs scored; Chloe Vogel went 1-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and a pair of runs scored; Saringer was 2-for-2 with three RBIs; Emily Vogel had two hits in as many at-bats with a double and two runs; Reichenbacher went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a pair of runs scored; Adela Thiel was 1-for-2 with two runs; Weiss tripled, scored twice and drove in a pair; and Audrey Weber recorded her first varsity hit and later came around to score.

Saringer earned the win, giving up three hits in as many innings, two walks, and a run along with one strikeout.

BASEBALL

Kimberly 11, Oshkosh North 1

OSHKOSH - The Papermakers scored 11 runs on seven hits and four Spartans errors to pick up the win in five innings.

Alex Vander Loop got the win for Kimberly, allowing one run on four hits while striking out nine.

Max Kalk had a double and three RBIs for Kimberly. Brady Koester had a double, Sawyer Deering had two RBIs and Ryan Csida had three hits, including a double, and scored twice.

Keegan Schlicting took the loss for Oshkosh North.

Kaukauna 1, Oshkosh West 0

KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts scored a run in the fourth inning in the victory over the Wildcats.

Trevor Rice toseed a two-hitter for Oshkosh West, but the Wildcats couldn’t generate a run to support him.

Landon Ubrig, Eddy Schroeder and Louis Schumacher had hits for West.

Lomira 8, Omro 2

LOMIRA - Matt Schelvan threw a complete game and allowed no earned runs in the Lions’ win over the Foxes.

The win improves Lomira to 7-2 in the Flyway Conference.

GIRLS SOCCER

Oshkosh West 4, Fond du Lac 1

OSHKOSH - Laney Wiebel scored three goals for the Wildcats in the Fox Valley Association win over the Cardinals.

After Fond du Lac scored first with a goal in the 10th minute, Wiebel scored on a penalty kick to tie the game.

Wiebel scored again with an assist from Jenna Brewer in the 39th minute to make it 2-1.

Gracelyn Weeks made it 3-1 in the 59th minute with an assist from Lyla Wesenberg, and Wiebel closed the scoring in the 66th minute with an assist from Liberty Klingbeil.

Oshkosh West goalie Hannah Wolf made seven saves.

Mayville 4, Lomira 0

MAYVILLE - The Cardinals scored two goals in each half in the win over the Lions.

Ellie Wojahn scored two goals for Mayville. Isabelle Neumeyer and Natalie Jansen also scored. Claire Travis had two assists.

Mayville goalie Kaylee Nowak made four saves.

Lourdes/Valley Christian 2, Hustisford/Dodgeland 1

HUSTISFORD - Addy Hafemeister scored two goals for the Knights in the victory.

Hailee Bauer made five saves in goal for Lourdes.

Winnebago Lutheran 8, Wayland Academy 1

BEAVER DAM - Ava Lorenz scored three goals and added two assists as the Vikings cruised to the win.

WLA led 4-0 at the half and never looked back.

Leah Theisen added two goals and an assist, Alix Jahnke had one goal, Natalie Koehn had a goal and an assist, Hannah Ihde had a goal, and Ava Boelk and Siri Kuske each had an assist.

Daniela Espinoza scored for Wayland.

Lydia Bernhard had four saves and Elayna Schultz three for WLA.

Waupun 2, Winnebago Lutheran 0 (Monday)

WAUPUN - The Warriors scored a goal in each half in the nonconference win over the Vikings.

Lydia Bernhard had six saves and Elayna Schultz had two saves in goal for WLA.
