Trinity, Sacred Heart stars take Mr. and Ms. Lacrosse honors; All-State teams announced
Trinity High School’s Sam Alexander and Sacred Heart’s Kaelin Truman have been named Mr. and Ms. Lacrosse by the Kentucky Scholastic Lacrosse League.
Alexander, a junior long-stick midfielder, had 12 goals, 10 assists and 78 ground balls. He helped the Shamrocks win their first state title since 2017, beating South Oldham 12-2 in the final, and has committed to Jacksonville University.
Truman, a senior attack, posted 40 goals, 33 assists and 29 ground balls while helping the Valkyries reach the state semifinals. She has signed with Alabama-Huntsville.
