Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars team up with E-Z-GO after viral video of QB walking off field

It's mid-December and that means the final stretch of the NFL regular season. Teams are fighting for playoff positions with just four weeks left to go, the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars among them.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence suffered an ankle injury on Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13. He had to be helped off the field, notably without a cart, to the locker room for evaluation. Georgia-based golf cart manufacturer E-Z-GO took note of the missing cart and reached out to both Lawrence and the Jaguars on X, formerly known as Twitter, with a "proposition" for them.

That proposition? A fleet of golf carts for the Jaguars.

Nine days after Lawrence left the field cart-less on Monday Night Football, he gifted a fleet of E-Z-GO carts to his offensive linemen for Christmas.

"I had to treat my boys right," Lawrence said in a video of him gifting the carts to his teammates. "They sacrifice a lot for us and for myself so I had to do something special for them for Christmas."

The video earned a response from E-Z-GO and some Jaguars fans weighed in as well.

They'll have a couple days to enjoy them before primetime matchup with AFC leading-Baltimore on Sunday Night Football this week.
