Tournament MVP and more: Vote for the Boys Hockey Athlete of the Week
Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Boys Hockey Players of the Week Poll.
High school sports fans can vote for which boys hockey athletes they think were standouts during the previous week.
The poll will be open from Thursday through Wednesday. The winners will be announced every Thursday along with the new poll.
Rules of the Road
Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Players of the Week, scroll down on this page.
Last week's winner
Ty Kelley, Bourne
Kelley placed first in the first poll of the season with 42% of the votes. He recorded a hat trick for the Canalmen in a 5-1 win over Monomoy/Mashpee.
This week's candidates
Breydan Brennan, Upper Cape
Brennan fiinsihed with a goal and three assists in a 6-1 win over GNBVT.
Dominic Bonito, Bourne
Bonito had a hat trick of assists in a 6-2 victory over Rockland.
Chris Cardillo, Sandwich
Cardillo had a hat trick and dished out an assist in a 5-5 shootout win over Martha's Vineyard for the Jim Gromley Cup championship. Cardillo was named the George Sala Memorial MVP with four goals and one assist in two games.
Jack Connolly, Sandwich
Connolly had a goal and two helpers in a win over Martha's Vineyard.
Ty Kelley, Bourne
Kelley scored four goals for the Canalmen as they beat Rockland.
Brady Meyer, St. John Paul II
Meyer led the way with four assists and one goal in a 7-2 win over Mt. Hope.
Ty Rebeiro, Upper Cape
Rebeiro scored one goal and added three assists in a win over GNBVT.
Sean Willis, St. John Paul II
Willis added a goal and two assists in a victory over Mt. Hope.
