Tournament heroes and brick-wall goaltenders: Our Boys Hockey All-Scholastics

The South Shore didn't have any boys hockey teams crowned state champions this winter, but Hanover came close, losing to Dover-Sherborn in the Division 4 state final at TD Garden.

Duxbury made a third straight trip to the Div. 2 semifinals but again was denied, this time by eventual (and surprise) champ Boston Latin, which won the title as a No. 11 seed.

Meanwhile, five different local teams advanced to their respective quarterfinals -- Hingham and Marshfield in Div. 1, Scituate and Pembroke in Div. 3, and Norwell in Div. 4.

In all, 22 South Shore teams qualified for the playoffs with 15 of them winning at least one round.

Now it's time to put the finishing touches on the 2023-24 season. Let's meet the Patriot Ledger/Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastics:
