These are the top SW Indiana high school athletes from week of Sept. 11-16

EVANSVILLE — This fall, the Courier & Press will highlight the top high school performances of each night.

Monday, Sept. 11

Santiago Arruffat, Harrison soccer: The senior scored twice for the Warriors in a 5-1 conference victory against North.

Addison Connor, Princeton volleyball: The junior totaled 25 kills and three blocks in a four-set victory against Forest Park.

Grant Doherty, Mount Vernon soccer: The senior had both goals for the Wildcats in a 2-0 win against Princeton.

Brandon Elizarraras, Jasper soccer: The senior netted two goals for the Wildcats in a 6-0 win versus Mater Dei.

Addie Fullop, North Posey volleyball: The senior totaled 18 kills and 11 digs in a three-set victory against Pike Central.

Payge Johnson, Tecumseh volleyball: The senior totaled 12 kills, 12 digs, nine assists and four aces in a three-set victory against Washington.

Colton Hays, Harrison soccer: The senior netted two goals in a win against North.

Mabrey Wilson, Gibson Southern soccer: The sophomore had two goals for the undefeated Titans in a 5-1 win over Mount Vernon.

Tuesday, September 12

Camden Ames, Tell City soccer: The sophomore scored all four goals in a 4-0 victory against South Spencer.

Matea Bradfield, Reitz soccer: The junior had one goal and two assists in a 4-3 win over rival Mater Dei.

Reegan Buck, Memorial volleyball: The junior had 18 assists and 12 digs in a four-set victory against Mater Dei.

Siri Fullop, North Posey volleyball: The sophomore had 29 assists, nine digs and four aces in a three-set win over Reitz.

Peyton Geer, Evansville Christian soccer: The sophomore had three goals and one assist in a win over Bosse.

Brooke Herdes, Mater Dei volleyball: The junior totaled 18 assists, 12 digs and 11 kills in a four-set loss to Memorial.

Haley Hughes, Gibson Southern golf: The junior set the nine-hole program record with a 33 in a win over North.

Graham Hubert, Evansville Christian soccer: The freshman scored a hat trick in a 12-0 win against Bosse.

Wil Minar, Mater Dei soccer: The senior scored the winning goal on a penalty kick in a 2-1 overtime victory over rival Reitz.

Aleyna Quinn, Castle soccer: The senior added two more goals in a 4-1 victory over rival Memorial to take first place in the SIAC.

Gabby Smitha, Gibson Southern volleyball: The senior totaled 17 assists and 10 kills for the Titans in a five-set victory against Wood Memorial.

Wade Snyder, Evansville Christian soccer: The sophomore scored a hat trick in a 12-0 win over Bosse.

Wednesday, September 13

Jahzara McAlister, Central soccer: The senior scored twice for the Bears in a 3-0 win against Princeton.

Daniel Tkachuk, Castle soccer: The junior scored the game-winner with three minutes left in a 1-0 win against rival Memorial.

Thursday, September 14

Ingrid Damm, Mater Dei soccer: The sophomore helmed a shutout in net in a 2-0 win against Heritage Hills.

Brandon Elizarraras, Jasper soccer: The senior added two more goals in a 3-1 victory over North.

Reese McCutchan, Memorial volleyball: The senior had 16 assists, 12 kills, 12 digs and 2 blocks in the four-set win over North.

Gracie Newton, Boonville volleyball: The senior totaled 18 kills, 12 assists and three blocks in a three-set victory against Pike Central.

Kierstin Niehaus, Castle volleyball: The senior had a team-high 12 digs and three aces in a three-set win over Central.

Aleyna Quinn, Castle soccer: The senior had three goals and two assists in a 9-0 win over Harrison. The final goal was her 100th career goal.

Zoee Robinson, Central soccer: The senior had two goals and one assist in a 9-0 win against Bosse.

Tewodros Stem, Evansville Christian soccer: The senior netted two goals and one assist in a 5-0 win over Vincennes Lincoln.

Sean Windell, Heritage Hills soccer: The junior totaled two goals for the Patriots in a 5-1 win over Pike Central.

Saturday, September 16

Nick Boes, Memorial soccer: The junior recorded a shutout with five saves in a 2-0 win against Marquette (Mo.).

Nolan Doan, Harrison soccer: The senior had four goals in a victory against Bosse.

Alexandro Hilaire, Harrison soccer: The sophomore scored four goals in a conference win over Bosse.

Haley Hughes, Gibson Southern golf: The junior was the sectional medalist at Buffalo Trace with an 81.

Ashley Kirkland, Castle golf: The junior was the sectional medalist at Fendrich with a 4-under 66.

Katie Kopshever, Castle volleyball: The senior totaled 33 kills and 23 digs in four games during a victorious John Breeding Invitational at New Albany.

Oliver Pelaez, Jasper soccer: The sophomore had two goals and one assist in a 3-1 win against Reitz.

Arlissa Sharber, Mount Vernon volleyball: The senior had nine kills, 10 digs and nine assists in a loss to Heritage Hills.

Erik Villalobos, Princeton soccer: The senior had two goals and one assist in a 7-0 victory against Vincennes Rivet.
