Top plays from Chiefs’ Week 5 victory over Vikings

The Kansas City Chiefs managed to escape their Week 5 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings with their fourth win of the 2023 season. Though they didn’t achieve a blowout victory, the Chiefs showed positive signs on both sides of the ball that should bode well for the middle part of their schedule.

Kansas City’s defense managed to put together an exceptional performance against Minnesota, holding the Vikings to just 20 points and keeping prolific pass-catcher Justin Jefferson at bay. They came away with a fumble recovery after Minnesota’s first snap from scrimmage, and never let up in their effort to maintain their early lead.

On offense, the Chiefs moved the ball efficiently, even though Patrick Mahomes was limited by the Vikings pass rush. Isiah Pacheco helped lead the way for the unit and scored a touchdown that kept Kansas City in the driver’s seat of a game that ended in a one-score Chiefs victory.
