Top Clarksville-area sports performers in TSSAA baseball, softball, soccer March 18-24

Here are the top performers in Clarksville-area high school sports for the week of March 18-24.

Baseball

Preston Brooks, Clarksville: Hit a two-run home run in a 12-2 win over Centennial at the Jim Painter Classic.

Briley Hagewood, Clarksville: Hit a game-tying sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning in a 5-4 win over CPA at the Jim Painter Classic. Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI against Centennial.

Christian Henderson, Clarksville: Struck out 15 batters in six innings against CPA.

Porter Murff, Clarksville: Pitched four innings, giving up three hits and one run and striking out three against Centennial.

Korbin Reynolds, Clarksville: Went 2-for-4 with a triple against CPA.

Collin Windham, Clarksville: Grounded into a fielder's choice to score Benton Barksdale and walk off CPA. Homered, drove in three runs and reached base in all four plate appearances against Centennial.

Jakeob Clark and Brennen Gibson, Clarksville Academy: Both had multiple hits in a 13-7 win over Summertown at the Jim Painter Classic.

Floyd Dodwell, Clarksville Academy: Had two RBIs apiece and scored three runs against Summertown.

Colin Hitch, Clarksville Academy: Doubled and drove in two runs against Summertown. Hit a 3-run home run in a 13-3 loss to Page.

Evan Leonard, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs against Summertown.

Jalon Page, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-4 with a triple, two stolen bases and three runs against Summertown.

Johnny Cabaleiro, Rossview: Went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, three runs and a home run in a 13-4 win over Franklin at the Jim Painter Classic.

Brady Cooper, Rossview: Was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Franklin. Was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs in a 10-7 win over Summit.

Beckett Haselhuhn, Rossview: Struck out nine in four hitless, scoreless innings against Franklin.

Cole Jobe, Rossview: Struck out five in two innings against Franklin, giving up one hit and no earned runs. Got the save against Summit by pitching 2.1 innings, giving up one hit and striking out two without an earned run.

Ashton Kemp, Rossview: Drew four walks and stole two bases against Summit.

CJ Lattimore, Rossview: Went 3-for-4 with three runs against Franklin.

Matthew Simpson, Rossview: Went 2-for-2 against Franklin.

Mia Muiznieks, Clarksville Christian: Went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs.

Charlese Teasley, Clarksville Christian: Hit a walk-off three-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Maylee Wall, Clarksville Christian: Was 2-for-2 with a double and scored four runs.

May Barnholtz, Northwest: Went 2-for-2 with two RBIs in a 12-3 loss to LaRue County (Kentucky).

Tavashia Buckley, Northwest: Went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs against Clarksville Christian.

Aniah Filmore, Northwest: Went 3-for-3 with three runs and four stolen bases against Clarksville Christian.

Karenna Frost, Northwest: Drove in three runs and hit a double against Clarksville Christian.

Destinee Hines and Jayda James, Northwest: Drove in two runs apiece against Clarksville Christian. Hines also scored three runs.

AJ Johnson, Northwest: Went 2-for-2 with three runs against Clarksville Christian. Stole two bases.

Madelyn Fillers, Rossview: Went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs in a 12-2 win over West Creek. Also pitched a complete game, giving up three hits and no earned runs in four innings.

Boys track and field

Hayden Waleski, Clarksville: Won both his events at the Green Hill Invitational, with times of 1:57.05 in the 800 and 4:31.41 in the 1600.

Jamarcus Watkins, Clarksville: Placed eighth in the 100-meter dash (11.22 seconds).

Mateo Cerritos Gatto, Fort Campbell: Finished seventh in the 400-meter dash at the Green Hill Invitational with a time of 52.59 seconds. Also placed seventh in the triple jump (40 feet, two inches).

Darin Frederick, Fort Campbell: Was eighth in the discuss with a throw of 117 feet.

Maurice Moore, Fort Campbell: Took fourth place in the 400 by running a 51.82.

Ja'Caryous Perryman, Fort Campbell: Placed second in the long jump with a distance of 22 feet, three inches.

Cole Riedel, Kirkwood: Took sixth place in the triple jump at the Green Hill Invitational (40 feet, 2.5 inches).

Treyson Cosby, Northwest: Placed second in the triple jump at the Green Hill Invitational with a mark of 41 feet, eight inches.

Devon Brown, West Creek: Ran a 43.48 to take fifth place in the 300 hurdles at the Green Hill Invitational.

Girls track and field

Brooklyn Houk, Clarksville: Placed fifth in the discus at the Green Hill Invitational with a distance of 80 feet, six inches. Was eighth in the shot put (28 feet, 4.25 inches).

Adeline Polack, Clarksville: Finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles, running a 17.24. Posted a time of 50.36 seconds in the 300 hurdles to place sixth.

Brooke Waleski, Clarksville: Ran a 2:26.17 800-meter dash to finish fourth. Was also seventh in the 1600 (5:36.72).

Emmie Underwood, Fort Campbell: Placed sixth in the 3200 meters at the Green Hill Invitational, running an 11:50.42.

Zephaniah Fennel, Kirkwood: Finished eighth in the 100-meter hurdles at the Green Hill Invitational with a time of 18.00 seconds.

Gabrielle Taylor, Northwest: Took fourth place in the triple jump at the Green Hill Invitational with a distance of 34 feet, six inches. Came in seventh in the 100 hurdles, running a 17.50.

Maliya Warren, West Creek: Was eighth place in the 100 hurdles at the Green Hill Invitational with a time of 54.64.

Cade Cocke, Clarksville Christian: Hit a home run in a 20-6 loss to Northeast.

Gage Shipman and Jackson Woods, Clarksville Christian: Drove in two runs apiece.

Matthew Dirks, Kirkwood: Went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBIs in a 7-5 loss at Northeast.

Ethan Cramer, Northeast: Went 2-for-2 with five RBIs, three runs, a double and four stolen bases against Clarksville Christian.

Andrew Ellis, Northeast: Doubled and drove in three runs.

Aidan Lee, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with three runs scored.

Matthew Robertson and Cameron Skaggs, Northeast: Had two RBIs apiece.

Bennett Smith, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-5 with an RBI, a triple and two RBIs.

Emily Woodall, Clarksville Academy: Went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and two runs.

Tristin Caldwell and Jordan Wilkerson, Fort Campbell: Both went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two stolen bases in a 12-11 loss at West Creek.

Daniela Hernandez, Fort Campbell: Went 2-for-5 with an RBI.

Amar'e Moore, Fort Campbell: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, three runs, a triple and two stolen bases. Struck out 12 in six innings.

Jaydah Jordan, Kirkwood: Went 2-for-3, scored two runs, stole a base and homered in a 6-4 loss at Russellville (Kentucky).

Maddie Ratcliff, Kirkwood: Went 3-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs.

Addison Beech, Montgomery Central: Went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in a 12-0 win at Houston County.

Bella Davis, Montgomery Central: Went 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, five RBIs and two runs.

Jocelyn Kolozsy, Montgomery Central: Went 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Kaylee Phillips, Montgomery Central: Pitched a complete-game two-hitter with three strikeouts in five innings.

Jordan Donohue, Northeast: Drove in four runs and hit a triple in an 18-6 win at John Overton.

Zaria Forbis, Northeast: Reached base in all four of her plate appearances, stole two bases and scored three runs.

MacKenzie Mixon, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, three runs and a double. Pitched 2.1 innings with five strikeouts.

Makayla Tusie, Northeast: Went 2-for-2 with two runs scored.

Moana Tuuaga, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs.

Cara Bucciarelli, Stewart County: Was 3-for-4 with two runs in a 14-7 loss to Springfield.

Faith Dacus, Stewart County: Went 2-for-4 with a home run.

Addie Fitzhugh, Stewart County: Homered and drove in three runs. Crossed the plate twice.

Alisha Audate, West Creek: Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, two stolen bases and a double against Fort Campbell. Got the win by pitching three innings with six strikeouts and one run allowed.

MacKenzie Simons, West Creek: Scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Aniya Sims, West Creek: Stole five bases and scored three runs.
