Top Clarksville-area sports performers in TSSAA baseball, softball, soccer April 1-7

Here are the top performers in Clarksville-area high school sports for the week of April 1-7.

Baseball

Cade Abernathy, Clarksville: Doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored two runs in a 17-5 win over Mattoon (Illinois) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Keaton Anderson and Jack Wyatt, Clarksville: Both scored three runs and had hits against Mattoon.

Preston Brooks, Clarksville: Hit an RBI double and scored two runs against Mattoon. Went 2-for-3 in a 2-0 win over Henry County.

Briley Hagewood, Clarksville: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs against Mattoon.

Porter Murff, Clarksville: Pitched four innings, giving up four hits and no earned runs, against Mattoon. Struck out nine.

Braden Taylor, Clarksville: Pitched four innings with six strikeouts and four hits given up against Henry County to get the win.

Kirk Weatherford, Clarksville: Was 2-for-3 with an RBI against Mattoon. Doubled and pitched three innings with four strikeouts and two hits allowed for the save against Henry County.

Evan Welch, Clarksville: Went 2-for-2 with an RBI against Mattoon.

Collin Windham, Clarksville: Drove in three runs against Mattoon. Stole three bases against Henry County.

Tristan Cobbler, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 13-6 loss to Beech in the Donny Everett Classic.

Drew Miller and Evan Ozolins, Clarksville Academy: Both drove in two runs.

Evan Cramer, Northeast: Pitched three innings, giving up no earned runs and three hits, in a 16-10 win over Mason County (Kentucky) in the Donny Everett Classic. Reached base in all five plate appearances and stole a pair of bases. Went 2-for-4 with three RBIs in a 14-13 win over Greenbrier.

Jamarion Green, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI against Mason County. Hit two doubles and drove in a run against Greenbrier.

Jackson Meece, Northeast: Drove in three runs and scored two runs against Mason County. Drove in two runs, scored three and reached base in all four of his plate appearances against Greenbrier.

Kayden Mendables, Northeast: Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs against Mason County.

Matthew Robertson, Northeast: Drew four walks, scored two runs and was the winning pitcher against Greenbrier.

Cayden Young, Northeast: Was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs against Mason County. Went 2-for-4 against Greenbrier.

Johnny Cabaleiro, Rossview: Pitched three innings without allowing a baserunner, striking out five, to earn the save in a 9-5 win over Teays Valley (Ohio) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Beckett Haselhuhn, Rossview: Drove in three runs against Teays Valley.

Houston Hebert, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two runs and a double against Teays Valley.

CJ Lattimore, Rossview: Was 2-for-4 against Teays Valley.

Julian Richards, Rossview: Stole two bases against Teays Valley. Went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs in a 10-4 win over Hendersonville.

Caden Slaughter, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs against Teays Valley. Doubled and drove in three runs against Hendersonville.

Softball

Ava Ahearn, Clarksville: Went 2-for-3 with a double in an 11-8 win over Beech. Hit an RBI double in an 8-0 win over Crittenden County (Kentucky).

Aree Collins, Clarksville: Went 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBIs, four runs and two stolen bases against Beech. Homered against Crittenden County.

Abby Koyama, Clarksville: Went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs against Beech.

Charis Nichols, Clarksville: Was 4-for-4 with five RBIs and a double against Beech.

Carlie Sheets, Clarksville: Doubled, scored two runs and reached base in all four of her plate appearances against Beech. Was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs against Crittenden County.

Maddie South, Clarksville: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs against Crittenden County.

Bella Coon, Northwest: Went 2-for-2 in a 12-2 loss to Crittenden County.

Addison Carter, Rossview: Went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs in a 12-4 win over West Creek. Hit a two-run home run in a 6-0 win over Stewart County.

Madelyn Fillers, Rossview: Pitched five innings, striking out seven while giving up three hits and one earned runs, in a 4-2 win over East Robertson. Also went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a home run. Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs against Stewart County.

Kylee GIllette, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 against Stewart County.

McKenzie Quick, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 against West Creek. Was 3-for-3 with three runs and a triple against East Robertson. Went 2-for-3 against Stewart County.

Avery Rauscher, Rossview: Pitched five innings, giving up one hit and striking out six, in a 1-0 loss to Jo Byrns. Drove in three runs against West Creek. Pitched a complete game two-hitter with six strikeouts against Stewart County.

Kennedy Scott, Rossview: Drove in two runs, scored twice, hit a double and reached base in all of her plate appearances against West Creek.

Addy Waller, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a double against West Creek.

Savannah Wall, West Creek: Homered against Rossview.

FRIDAY

Baseball

Brady Davis, Clarksville: Struck out 10 in six shutout innings, giving up three hits and one walk, in a 7-0 win over Collierville in the Donny Everett Classic.

Collin Windham, Clarksville: Went 2-for-2 with two runs.

Colin Hitch, Clarksville Academy: Hit a walk-off RBI double in a 1-0 win over Westfield (Indiana) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Colton Wallace, Clarksville Academy: Pitched a complete game four-hitter with 11 strikeouts in seven frames. Also stole two bases.

Gabe Eddington, Montgomery Central: Went 2-for-4 with a double in a 7-5 loss to Christian County (Kentucky) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Dylan Fulton, Montgomery Central: Was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Ethan Cramer, Northeast: Drove in two runs in an 8-6 win over Teays Valley (Ohio) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Taylor Cramer and Jamarion Green, Northeast: Both scored two runs. Green struck out three in the seventh inning to get the save.

Isaiah Robinson, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Houston Hebert, Rossview: Homered and drove in two runs in a 10-3 win over Marian (Indiana) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Ashton Kemp, Rossview: Was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a double.

Brody Prairie, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and pitched five innings, giving up two runs.

Collin Henry, Stewart County: Pitched 5.2 innings without allowing an earned run in a 5-1 loss to McKenzie. Struck out five and gave up four hits.

Leonidus Muniz, West Creek: Drove in four runs and hit a double in a 10-0 win over Houston County.

Aiden Urdiales, West Creek: Pitched five shutout innings with 10 strikeouts, two walks and one hit allowed.

Softball

Ava Ahearn, Clarksville: Went 2-for-2 with a triple, a home run and four RBIs in an 11-1 win over East Robertson. Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs in a 6-5 loss to Russellville (Kentucky).

Aree Collins, Clarksville: Drove in two runs and stole two bases against East Robertson. Went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Russellville.

Charis Nichols, Clarksville: Pitched a four-inning complete game against East Robertson with one hit allowed and seven strikeouts, while going 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Carlie Sheets, Clarksville: Went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Russellville.

Haylie Brooks, Houston County: Struck out 12 over five innings pitched in a 12-1 win over McKenzie, giving up two hits and no earned runs. At the plate, went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI.

Peyton Brooks, Houston County: Stole three bases and scored two runs.

Madison Hamilton and Callie Herron, Houston County: Both went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Ally Mitchell, Houston County: Was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Kylee Smith, Houston County: Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs.

May Barnholtz, Northwest: Pitched a complete game with six strikeouts, four hits and no earned runs allowed in a 6-1 win over Obion County. Also hit a triple.

Aniah Filmore, Northwest: Went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI against Clarksville Christian. Hit a two-run homer against Obion County.

Jayda James, Northwest: Homered against Obion County.

McKenna Shore, Northwest: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI, including the go-ahead single against Clarksville Christian. Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two stolen bases against Obion County.

Amiah Yancy, Northwest: Went 2-for-2 against Clarksville Christian.

Madelyn Fillers, Rossview: Went 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBIs in a 5-2 win over Murray (Kentucky). Pitched three innings, giving up one hit, no earned runs and striking out three.

Addy Waller, Rossview: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a double in a 3-2 loss to Obion County.

Addison Arnold and Addie Fitzhugh, Stewart County: Both went 2-for-3 in a 3-1 loss to Bishop McNamara (Illinois). Fitzhugh drove in a run.

Ema Borden, Stewart County: Pitched a five-inning complete game, allowing two earned runs and five hits while striking out four.

THURSDAY

Baseball

Christian Henderson, Clarksville: Pitched a complete game two-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts in a 4-0 win over Teays Valley (Ohio) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Collin Windham, Clarksville: Drove in a pair of runs.

Tristan Cobbler, Clarksville Academy: Was 2-for-4 with three RBIs in a 15-7 win over Marian (Indiana) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Braxton Cox, Clarksville Academy: Earned the win against Marian, going 3.1 innings with one hit allowed, no runs and three strikeouts.

Floyd Dodwell, Clarksville Academy: Hit an RBI triple in a 12-10 win over Hendersonville. Was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, two runs and a double against Marian.

Brennen Gibson, Clarksville Academy: Scored two runs against Hendersonville and went 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and three runs against Marian.

Cooper Hasenbein, Clarksville Academy: Was 2-for-4 with an RBI and three runs against Hendersonville.

Drew Miller, Clarksville Academy: Doubled and reached base three times against Hendersonville and was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs against Marian.

Colton Hofmiller, Kirkwood: Stole three bases and scored three runs in an 8-5 win at Creek Wood.

Tyler Mixon, Kirkwood: Blasted a three-run home run.

Kaleb Cilk, Montgomery Central: Pitched three hitless innings, walking one and striking out four, to get the win in an 8-2 win over Northwest.

Dylan Fulton, Montgomery Central: Was 2-for-2 with an RBI, three runs, a stolen base and reached base four times. Pitched four innings, giving up two hits and a run, and struck out four.

Jackson Morris, Montgomery Central: Drove in two runs.

Ethan Cramer, Northeast: Drove in two runs and scored two of his own in a 9-6 win over Van Buren (Ohio) in the Donny Everett Classic.

Jamarion Green, Northeast: Went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Isaiah Robinson, Northeast: Was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Cameron Skaggs, Northeast: Pitched six innings of shutout ball, giving up two hits and striking out five.

Nathan Geise, Northwest: Struck out 12 batters in 4.2 innings, giving up two earned runs against Montgomery Central.

Hunter McHugh, Northwest: Went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs.

Seth Booth, Drew Morehead and Taylor Simpson, Rossview: Combined on a five-inning no-hitter in a 16-0 win over Whetstone (Ohio) in the Donny Everett Classic. Morehead struck out six in three innings while Booth and Simpson each pitched one inning.

Johnny Cabaleiro, Rossview: Hit a three-run home run and scored twice.

Beckett Haselhuhn, Rossview: Doubled and drove in two runs.

Ashton Kemp, Rossview: Went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs.

Shaun Chumley, West Creek: Went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, three runs and two stolen bases in a 19-0 win over Clarksville Christian.

Alik George, West Creek: Was 2-for-3 with four RBIs, two runs and two doubles.

Nathan Lucas, West Creek: Reached base in all four plate appearances. Drove in two runs and scored two more.

Leonidus Muniz, West Creek: Was 2-for-2 with three RBIs.

Boys soccer

Sean Carey and Jacob Wiggins, Clarksville: Teamed up for a shutout in a 2-0 win at Green Hill. Carey stopped four shots and Wiggins made five saves.

Alex Todd, Clarksville: Had a goal and an assist.

Luca Lantz, Kirkwood: Scored the Cobras' lone goal in a 1-1 draw at Creek Wood, assisted by Chuy Ortiz.

Jackson Marroquin, Kirkwood: Stopped five shots.

Logan Colapietro and Cleo Patterson, Montgomery Central: Both had assists in a 5-3 win at East Robertson.

Mikey Hougland, Montgomery Central: Scored two goals.

Cooper Hudgens and Andrew Wall, Montgomery Central: Scored a goal apiece.

Zachary Taylor, Montgomery Central: Scored a goal and assisted on three others.

Caleb Bone, Northwest: Totaled one goal and two assists in a 6-3 win over Dickson County.

Jake Haynes and Dylan Hood, Rossview: Had one assist apiece.

Hunter McHugh and Hunter Swanson, Northwest: Both scored three runs against Kenwood, while McHugh hit a double.

Jermiah Compton, Stewart County: Reached base three times via hit-by-pitch and stole a base in a 4-3 loss at Huntingdon.
