The top Bucs defensive players in 2023 so far, per PFF

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 3-1 coming out of their bye week, and their excellent defensive play has been a big reason why.

The Bucs defense has been one of the NFL’s best, hanging with elite units in both EPA/play and DVOA. There have been a number of contributors on that side of the ball, and despite injuries, the team has managed to limit red zone offenses and particualrly stifle the run against its opponents.

Pro Football Focus has graded every Bucs defensive player in the team’s first four games, and there have been numerous pieces that have contributed to Tampa Bay’s excellent defensive unit. Here are Tampa Bay’s top defensive players (minimum 60 or more snaps) in the eyes of PFF:
