Mt. Juliet swimmer Bryce Winzenread voted Nashville area girls athlete of the week

Fans have chosen this week's Nashville area high school girls athlete of the week.

Mt. Juliet freshman swimmer Bryce Winzenread won the award with 55,265 votes for 39.5% of the 139,898 total. She won the TISCA state title in the girls 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.80.

Independence basketball player Aaliyah Fleming was second with 50,435 votes for 36% of the total. Fleming led the Lady Eagles with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 59-37 win over Summit.

University School of Nashville swimmer Anna Hulan came in third in the voting with 9,551 selections (6.8%). She won the TISCA state title in the girls 200 individual medley with a time of 2:02.71.
