The 2024 Super Bowl – the 58th iteration of the NFL's biggest game – is set to get underway in just over a week. For now, the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs are readying up for a Super Bowl rematch.
Super Bowl 58 will be the second big game faceoff between these two teams in the last five years. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes won his first Lombardi Trophy – and the Chiefs' first since 1969 – against the 49ers after the 2019 season. However, this year's 49ers team looks markedly different from that previous squad, having added a new quarterback, two new star receivers, an outstanding left tackle, an All-Pro running back and more since then.
