NBA trade deadline day has arrived.
Thursday is the last day that the league's 30 teams can finalize a trade before the end of the season. The trade deadline offers title-contending teams the chance to improve their roster midseason and for the other teams to acquire future draft picks for their older talent.
There have already been some big trades completed over the last month. The Knicks brought in OG Anunoby in a late December trade with the Raptors, who also sent forward Pascal Siakam to the Pacers in mid-January. On Wednesday, the Pistons landed forward Simone Fontecchio, the Celtics added Xavier Tillman and the Timberwolves traded for Monte Morris.
