Tigers remain in top 15, move up one spot in AP Top 25 after Week 12 win over Georgia State
LSU made its winning streak two on Saturday night, knocking off Georgia State at home as it wrapped up non-conference play with a dominating 56-14 win.
The game served as a Heisman showcase for quarterback Jayden Daniels, who tied Joe Burrow’s record for touchdowns in a single game with eight (six passing, two rushing) as he played late into the game against the Panthers.
That showing has allowed the Tigers to see a slight boost in both polls this week despite only one team currently ranked above them losing in Oregon State.
