Tigers receive votes in latest AP Top 25 Poll

It appears the Associated Press Top 25 Poll voters still don’t view Clemson as one of the top teams in the country.

The Tigers are unranked in Sunday’s AP Poll after defeating North Carolina 31-20 at home on Saturday. Clemson received 20 votes, and if the Poll extended past 25 teams, Clemson would be No. 31, right behind North Carolina, who would be No. 30.

Clemson has yet to be ranked in the AP Poll since the Week 2 Poll following the Tigers’ loss to Duke in September.

Despite winning their last three games, including against two ranked teams in Notre Dame and North Carolina, Clemson still has work to do in the voters’ minds to be worthy of a Top 25 spot. The Tigers will play their final regular season game against in-state rival South Carolina on Saturday.
