Tiger Woods shot-by-shot live updates from Saturday’s 2023 Masters third round at Augusta National

AUGUSTA, Ga. — If you can’t watch Tiger Woods during the third round of the 2023 Masters on Saturday afternoon, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

The 15-time major champion returned to Augusta National Golf Club this week with a pair of records on his mind, and he was able to achieve one of them. While Woods’ quest for a record-tying sixth green jacket took a hit on Thursday after a 2-over 74 in the opening round, his 1-over 73 in the second round was just enough to make the cut on the number and tie Gary Player and Fred Couples for the most consecutive made cuts in Masters history.

Woods, 47, has never missed the cut at the Masters as a professional since his debut in 1997 (he was low amateur in 1995 and missed the cut in 1996 as an amateur).

Woods will tee it up in the third round with Thomas Pieters and Sungjae Im at 1:06 p.m. ET off the 10th tee. Follow every shot Woods’ Saturday afternoon round below with shot-by-shot updates from Augusta National.

Hole 10 - Par 4: Camellia

And we’re off again! Found the fairway down the left side off the tee with driver but his approach was a club short (or he just mishit it because it’s cold and he’s uncomfortable, who’s to say?).

He hit hit a good pitch that checked up inside eight feet from the hole due to the wet conditions, but his par putt took an Olympic-level dive across the hole to set up the two-putt bogey. Tough start. Could be a long day, folks.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over through 1 (4 over for the tournament).

Hole 11 - Par 4: White Dogwood

Grip it. Rip it. Bomb it. Bop it. A rare 300 yard drive in the wet and cold conditions here from Tiger goes 318 yards down the right side. Water left, hole location right and Tiger dropped this one right in the middle. Pin-high about 25 feet away for his first look at birdie of the day.

Nope. Misses this one left but he does well to clean up for par and avoids another dropped shot.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over through 2 (4 over for the tournament).

Hole 12 - Par 3: Golden Bell

Tiger began the day here at No. 12 to finish his second round and went flag hunting. Not so much here.

The pin is located in the middle of the green and this one missed long and left. He did well to control his speed with this chip and lands just on the green and lets it release past the hole, leaving just three feet to clean up for par.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 over through 3 (4 over for the tournament).
