Thursday injury report: Jags WR D.J. Chark, other notables miss second consecutive practice

The Jacksonville Jaguars didn’t have any changes to their injury report Thursday aside from the addition of tight end James O’Shaughnessy, who had a scheduled day off.

Receivers D.J. Chark (shin) and Collin Johnson (hamstring), and tailback James Robinson (ankle) all remained out for the Jags. That doesn’t come as a surprise as coach Doug Marrone said Johnson would miss Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts and stated that Robinson was likely to miss it.

As for Chark, his status was left in the air. However, after missing two days of practice this week, it appears he may miss Sunday’s game.

In the case of Chark and Johnson, the Jags could promote some players from practice squad where they have three receivers available. Those players are Terry Godwin, Damion Willis, and Josh Hammond.

As for Robinson’s likely absence, the Jags will probably give Dare Ogunbowale the nod in his place. The third-year running back started in Robinson’s place last week and registered 14 carries for 71 yards.
