It’s Monday, March 25, 2019, and with Jared out, here’s what The Rush team is cooking up:
The end of the first weekend of the NCAA tournament was all about the upsets that didn’t happen. Tournament favorite Duke barely survived a challenge from UCF, and the Tennessee Volunteers blew an enormous lead then held on to win in overtime against Iowa.
After reports that Big Baller Brand’s co-founder swindled him out of $1.5 million, Lonzo Ball posted a cryptic message on Instagram that indicated he may be jumping to Nike. It’s another blow to the already wobbly apparel company.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is calling it a career. The Rush sends off the legendary goofball with a retirement gift only he could appreciate.
