The Rush: NBA is conquering COVID in the bubble as NFL is feeling the struggle

WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE to see today’s piping-hot, fresh-outta-the-oven episode of THE RUSH with Jared Quay! We’ll let you know everything you didn’t know you needed to know about sports. Other stuff too. But mostly sports.

It’s Tuesday, July 21, 2020 and here’s what Jared’s cooking up:

  • Several members of the San Francisco Giants (including manager Gabe Kapler) knelt during the National Anthem on Monday night

  • On the eve of the intersquad scrimmages, the NBA reports zero players have tested positive for COVID-19 in the bubble since July 13. Hooray!

  • Russell Westbrook arrives in Orlando to rejoin the Rockets after recovering from the virus.

  • As uncertainty about the viability of a full NFL season swirls, the NFL and NFLPA agree to terms on testing protocols for training camp.

  • The NFL releases details about contact tracing bracelets, which they hope will help keep team personnel healthy.

  • Kansas City gets an extra prize for winning the Super Bowl...being the first team to go back to the office during a global pandemic!

THE RUSH will be back tomorrow! Until then, stay safe and don’t forget to check out our previous episodes here.
