• After a 16-car pileup, inclement weather and a wreck on the final lap, Michael McDowell was crowned as this year’s Daytona 500 champion.

• Bubba Wallace also competed in the Daytona 500, driving a car co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin.

• Anthony Davis left Sunday’s game vs. Denver after suffering an apparent achilles injury.

• Nets’ Kevin Durant is expected to miss at least two games with a hamstring strain.
