Texas is working to set up visit with five-star linebacker Anthony Hill

Another big time recruit could visit the Texas campus soon.

According to Jason Suchomel of OrangeBloods, Steve Sarkisian and company are looking to bring Texas A&M commit Anthony Hill to the Forty Acres before the season ends.

Hill’s commitment to the Aggies came as a surprise over the summer. The move continued an unexplainable run for Jimbo Fisher on the recruiting trail. Steve Sarkisian is looking to capitalize on Texas A&M’s on field struggles and continue his recruiting pitch to the talented linebacker.

Texas is pushing for multiple talented players as they close out one of the top classes in the country. Over the last two classes, Texas has hit on positions Tom Herman missed in his last two classes. Albeit, they have been unable to land the best linebackers on their board since Sarkisian took over.

Winning out for Anthony Hill would likely cement Texas as a top five class for the 2023 cycle. Hill is the No. 1 linebacker and No. 18 overall player in the On3 consensus.
