Texas Tech football score updates vs. Wyoming in Week 1
Texas Tech football will try to score a Week 1 win on the road against Wyoming to open the 2023 season.
The Red Raiders are coming off an 8-5 season that saw them close Joey McGuire's first year as head coach with a victory in the TaxAct Texas Bowl. Starting at quarterback for Tech is Tyler Shough, a sixth-year senior who is 8-1 as the Red Raiders' starter and 12-4 for his career.
The Cowboys are coached by Craig Bohl, who rose to prominence at North Dakota State where the Bison won three FCS national championships in his tenure. Bohl is now in his 10th season at Wyoming. Andrew Peasley returns as Wyoming's starting QB following a 7-6 campaign.
