NASHVILLE —Texas A&M brought the swag to 2023 SEC Media Days. All thanks to Jimbo Fisher.
Texas A&M defensive linemen McKinnley Jackson and Fadil Diggs and wide receiver Ainias Smith addressed media sporting Balenciaga sunglasses, the pricy suede-inspired look known to run as high as $530 a pair.
Fisher, the Texas A&M coach, inspired the look, Jackson said.
“He’s the suede man,” Jackson said at Nashville's Grand Hyatt hotel. “He put the swag on us and he let us do our thing.”
Jackson said the glasses were not the result of an NIL deal.
“It’s not just football,” Jackson said. “We’re not just robots. We got some juice with us.”
