Texas extends three offers to 2024 and 2025 recruits on Monday

Steve Sarkisian’s coaching staff is busy on the recruiting trail right now.

On Monday evening, three elite prospects from the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes announced they had received an offer from the University of Texas.

Each of the three are considered blue-chip prospects, often defined as four-star or five-star recruits. Here’s a look at Texas’ most recent offers with the recruiting rankings reflecting 247Sports.

First, a blue-chip linebacker out of California

2024 four-star LB Kamar Mothudi

  • Valley Village, California (Campbell Hall High School)

  • 6-3, 220 pounds

  • No. 12 linebacker in the country

  • No. 17 overall recruit in California

Next, a talented in-state wide receiver

2025 four-star ATH/WR Daylan McCutcheon

  • Lucas, Texas (Lovejoy High School)

  • 6-0, 175 pounds

  • No. 5 athlete in the country

  • No. 16 overall recruit in Texas

Finally, one of the top linebackers in the 2025 class

2025 four-star LB Madden Faraimo

  • San Juan Capistrano, California (J Serra Catholic High School)

  • 6-3, 210 pounds

  • No. 6 linebacker in the country

  • No. 4 overall recruit in California
