Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, ex-NBA player David Lee expecting baby girl in June

The former No. 1 in women's tennis is now looking forward to baby No. 1.

Caroline Wozniacki announced Wednesday on her social media accounts that she and her husband, retired NBA player David Lee, are expecting a daughter in June.

The 2018 Australian Open champion and winner of 30 singles titles announced her retirement from professional tennis after last year's Australian Open to raise awareness about rheumatoid arthritis. The Danish star held the world No. 1 ranking on the WTA Tour for a total of 71 weeks during her career.

Wozniacki, 30, married the two-time NBA All-Star in June 2019 at a star-studded ceremony in Italy.

And in what may or may not be related to their soon-to-be-expanded family, Wozniacki and Lee this week sold their Miami-area condominium for $16.25 million, less than a month after putting it on the market.
