Tennessee Titans score prediction vs. Baltimore Ravens: Our NFL Week 6 pick is in

The yo-yo act is traveling overseas for the weekend.

The Tennessee Titans (2-3) face off against the Baltimore Ravens (3-2) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday (8:30 a.m. CT, NFL Network). The Titans have alternated losses and wins to start the season, trading disappointment for dominance every week without ever showing much of a middle ground. By that trend, the Titans are due for a powerful performance against the Ravens, but they may be the most complete team the Titans have faced this year.

Here are The Tennessean's scouting report and score prediction for Sunday's game.

Titans offense vs. Ravens defense

Just look at the stat sheet and it's easy to say the Ravens should have a huge advantage here. They have a top-five scoring defense and a top-three total defense, allows the fewest yards per pass attempt in the NFL, is second in sacks and is the only team in the league that still hasn't allowed a rushing touchdown.

There are places the Titans should be able to challenge, though. Baltimore's coaches trust their secondary in man coverage, and the Pittsburgh Steelers exploited that last week, throwing 50-50 balls down the sideline to their big, physical receivers leading to several chunk plays. Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill hasn't shied from throwing those types of passes this season, and if Treylon Burks returns to the field opposite DeAndre Hopkins, the team won't be lacking in perimeter physicality.

The Steelers also found success using spell back Jaylen Warren in multiple roles. Warren rushed nine times for 40 yards and caught three passes for 39 yards, using his shiftiness similarly to how Titans rookie Tyjae Spears does. If the Titans can incorporate Spears the way Pittsburgh used Warren, there are gains to be made.

As for the Ravens' pass-rush success, that's a little misleading. They have the NFL's second-most sacks but also have the league's second-lowest quarterback hurry rate. When their rushers are getting into the backfield, they're usually bringing down the quarterback, but all told, they actually have the NFL's seventh-worst pressure rate.

Advantage: Even with the right areas to attack, the Ravens still have the edge. But don't be shocked if the Titans outperform their reputation.

Titans defense vs. Ravens offense

The Ravens dropped seven passes against the Steelers, two on plays that should've been surefire touchdowns. Clean up those simple mistakes and the Ravens are probably 4-1 right now.

But the truth is their offense has been more middle-of-the-road than the highlight plays made by quarterback Lamar Jackson and rookie receiver Zay Flowers might indicate. The Ravens have been efficient, ranking in the top 10 in third-down conversion rate and top three in red zone touchdown rate. But they rank in the bottom 10 in percentage of drives ending in points and average number of plays per drive.

The big question will be how much of a fluke last week's performance was for the Titans' run defense. The Colts rushed for 193 yards Sunday, marking the first time the Tennessee allowed more than 110 rushing yards in 21 games. The Ravens love running the ball, and if there are imperfections in the Titans' scheme to be exploited, they'll find them. But if the Titans can recalibrate to their strengths and force the Ravens to pass, this could be a really close battle.

Advantage: The Titans by a hair.

Score prediction: Titans 20, Ravens 17

This feels like it has the makings of a classic weird game. Neither team is at home. Jet lag. Both teams are coming off losses. Don't be surprised if there's a little sloppiness. But the Titans tend to thrive in the slop. The yo-yo continues spinning up and down as their streak of alternating wins and losses continues.
