Tennessee Titans rule 8 players out vs. Dallas Cowboys; Derrick Henry is doubtful
The Tennessee Titans have ruled eight players out for their game Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys and listed three more as doubtful to play.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill and defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons are the headliners of the group of players who the Titans (7-8) won't use against the Cowboys (11-4) at Nissan Stadium on Thursday (7:15 p.m., NewsChannel 5, Amazon Prime Video).
This game does not affect the Titans' playoff hopes, which will be decided by the outcome of Week 18's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. As such, a number of Titans who are battling through injuries are either out or doubtful for this contest.
Running back Derrick Henry is doubtful to play after missing practice Monday with a hip injury.

Defensive lineman Denico Autry and cornerback Kristian Fulton are also doubtful. Fulton hasn't played in a month and Autry played his first game since November last week.
The full list of players the Titans players who will not play against the Cowboys is: Tannehill, Simmons, offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, safety Amani Hooker, outside linebacker Bud Dupree, linebacker Zach Cunningham, linebacker Dylan Cole and defensive back Josh Thompson.
If all of the doubtful players miss Thursday's game, the Titans could be without as many as nine regular starters.
