Tennessee baseball adds Pac-12 pitcher from transfer portal
Tennessee baseball added a pitcher from the NCAA transfer portal.
Senior California pitcher Chris Stamos announced he will play for the Vols in 2023.
“I am so thankful for my experience at Cal and the wonderful relationships I made,” Stamos announced. “Now, I’m so excited to announce my commitment to the University of Tennessee to continue my baseball career and a graduate degree!”
Stamos appeared in 36 games, including five starts, at California from 2022-23. He recorded 46 strikeouts and a 6.75 ERA.
Stamos transferred to California from Principia College. He played at Principia College from 2019-20.
