TCU transfer Eddie Lampkin Jr. plans on visiting Colorado

Former TCU men’s basketball center Eddie Lampkin Jr., who entered the transfer portal on March 13, plans on visiting Colorado after the end of the NCAA dead period on April 6, as confirmed by BuffStampede’s Adam Munsterteiger.

Lampkin averaged 6.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game for an impressive Horned Frogs team this season and has received interest from programs such as Michigan State, Auburn and Missouri.

It was previously reported that Lampkin had committed to Georgetown, but the Texas product denied that report, and his recruitment is open given the news of his upcoming potential visit.

The addition of Lampkin would make him a quality replacement for Lawson Lovering, who entered the transfer portal and landed at Pac-12 rival Utah.

Five-star incoming freshman forward Cody Williams is coming to Boulder next season and the Buffs also have quality talent likely to return such as Luke O’Brien, KJ Simpson and Tristan da Silva.
