TCPalm's 2023 All-Area Girls Golf: Meet the area's top players from the fall season!

The best high school girls golfers on the Treasure Coast brought home district titles as well as several state tournament qualifiers.

TCPalm's Girls Golf All-Area team continues a celebration of the best high school student-athletes from Martin, Indian River and St. Lucie counties.

Here's a look at the top fairway and pin-seekers from the fall high school girls golf season:

Player of the Year

Dounia Bezzari, Jr., Vero Beach

T26th-place finish at Class 3A state with 155 (77-78) at Mission Inn Resort & Club (Howey-in-the-Hills); T6th at regionals 73 at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links; second-place finish at districts (79) at the Dunes Course at Sandridge Golf Club (Winter Beach).

First Team

Faith Ayers, Sr., Jensen Beach

79th-place finish at Class 2A state with 185 (93-92) at Mission Inn Resort & Club (Howey-in-the-Hills); shot 93 at regionals at Grand Palms (Pembroke Pines); shot 93 to finish 14th at districts at Jensen Beach Golf Club.

Lily Boulter, Jr., South Fork

43rd-place finish at Class 2A state championships with 164 (78-86) at Mission Inn Resort & Club (Howey-in-the-Hills); fifth-place finish at regionals (80) at Dubsdread Golf Course (Orlando); shot 89 to win district championship at Indian River Preserve Golf Club (Mims); only competitor to break 100 in the tournament.

Hailey Eisert, Sr., Vero Beach

Class 2A state qualifier; average 37.2 per nine-hole match; tied for eighth (77) at regionals at Grand Palms (Pembroke Pines); fourth-place finish at districts (81) at Jensen Beach Golf Club; medalist and low round at Treasure Lake Conference at Meadowood (Fort Pierce); nominee for TCPalm Player of the Week.

10th-place finish (75) at Class 2A regionals on Royal St. Cloud Links Golf Club; T8th at districts (93) at Sandridge Golf Club (Winter Beach).

Chloe Sebuck, Sr., Jensen Beach

62nd-place finish at Class 2A state with 175 (83-92) at Mission Inn Resort & Club (Howey-in-the-Hills); posted team's low round in two season matches; averaged 39.3 per nine-hole match over the past two seasons, improving from 42.3 as sophomore and 43.2 as freshman; Sebuck began four-year varsity career as No. 2 as freshman, No. 1 as sophomore and junior and closed career at No. 1 and No. 3 as senior.

Darci Wagner, So., Vero Beach

Anita Wang, So., Jensen Beach

T40th-place finish at Class 2A state with 163 (78-85) at Mission Inn Resort & Club (Howey-in-the-Hills); T3rd-place finish at regionals (73) at Grand Palm (Pembroke Pines); T8th at districts (85) at the Jensen Beach Golf Club; average 36.3 per nine-hole match; shot low round in four season matches; three-time TCPalm Player of the Week nominee.

  • Polina Anismiova, Sr., John Carroll — Shot 80 at regionals at Sandhill Crane Country Club (Palm Beach Gardens); 3rd-place finish at districts (73) at Meadowood Golf Club (Fort Pierce).

  • Abby Smith, Jr., Lincoln Park Academy — Shot 85 at regionals at Sandhill Crane Country Club (Palm Beach Gardens); 6th-place finish at districts (77) at Meadowood Golf Club (Fort Pierce).

  • Olivia Stovall, So., St. Edward's — 16th-place finish at districts (87) at Meadowood Golf Club (Fort Pierce).

  • Jenna Missett, Jr., Treasure Coast — Shot 89 at regionals at Royal St. Cloud Links Golf Club; fifth-place finish at districts (86) at Sandridge Golf Club (Winter Beach).

  • Collins Toth, Jr., Martin County — Shot 94 at regionals at Royal St. Cloud Links Golf Club; T8th at districts (93) at Sandridge Golf Club (Winter Beach).

  • Addison Millican, Jr., Sebastian River — 12th-place finish at districts (94); T8th at Sandridge Golf Club (Winter Beach).

  • Maggie Twardowski, Jr., Vero Beach — T71st-place finish at state with two-day 184 (95-89) at Mission Inn Resort & Club (Howey-in-the-Hills); shot 95 at regionals on Royal St. Cloud Golf Links; shot 98 at districts in team runner-up finish at Sandridge Golf Club (Winter Beach).

  • Marissa Weaver, Sr., Vero Beach — T71st-place finish at state with two-day 184 (95-89) at Mission Inn Resort & Club (Howey-in-the-Hills); shot 93 at regionals on Royal St. Cloud Golf Links; shot 97 at districts in team runner-up finish at Sandridge Golf Club (Winter Beach).

Coach of the Year

Guy Power, Jensen Beach

The Falcons stood strong in a crowded district and region that featured strong sides like American Heritage-Delray, American Heritage-Plantation and Archbishop McCarthy. Their improvement under Power in 2023 was highlighted by a regional runner-up finish that earned the team qualification for Class 2A state championships. Jensen Beach won the Crutchfield Hawkins Tournament in a one-hole playoff over Archbishop McCarthy and claimed the Treasure Coast Lake Conference championship as well. The Falcons finished the year ranked No. 9 in Class 2A per iWanamaker.
