Suzanne Schulting at the Olympics: Everything to know about speed skating star at Beijing Games

Suzanne Schulting may be the most dominant athlete in her given sport coming into the 2022 Beijing Olympics. The Dutch speed skating superstar is looking to cement her name into history.

At the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships in March, she won all five events she entered.

She won gold in the overall, 500 meters, 1,000 meters, 1,500 meters and 3,000 meters relay.

Among the women expected to challenge her for medals are Canadian Courtney Sarault, Italy's Arianna Fontana, who is the reigning Olympic champion in the 500 meters, Kristen Santos of the United States and Schulting's Dutch teammate Selma Poutsma.
