Suns backup big Bismack Biyombo will get the start for injured Deandre Ayton in Sunday night's game against Houston at Footprint Center.

Ayton sprained his left ankle in Friday's win over New Orleans as he landed on Jonas Valanciunas' foot after taking a jump shot in the first quarter.

Ayton didn't play the final three quarters.

The Suns' starting big will be re-evaluated in a week, putting him on a timetable that has him likely missing Phoenix's final four games of this six-game homestand.

Ayton could return Nov. 7 at Philadelphia to begin at four-game road trip.

Biyombo started the second half Friday for Ayton as he finished with 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Landale added eight points.
