Sun Devil Stadium name change reaction: Fans not on board with new Mountain America name
Arizona State University's football stadium has always been known as Sun Devil Stadium.
And according to early reaction from fans of the school on social media, it is going to stay that way, even after the university announced a multi-year naming rights partnership with Mountain America Credit Union Wednesday that will change the name of Sun Devil Stadium to "Mountain America Stadium, Home of the ASU Sun Devils."
ASU fans and media members took to social media to share their thoughts on the new name, and their intention to continue to call it Sun Devil Stadium.
Arizona State's partnership with Mountain America is for 15 years.

Crow: How do we get ASU fans to stop being so mad at us for screwing up ASU Athletics?🤔
Ray: We could change the name of Sun Devil Stadium?
Ray & Crow: YES! That way they’ll forget about how bad we’re gonna screw ourselves over by not joining the Big12 & lose millions of $— Chad Smith (@chad9smith) August 2, 2023
