Stringfellow and West among Pueblo's Top Performers of the Week

As we slowly approach the mid-way point of the fall season, Pueblo’s Prep Players of the Week candidates grow stronger and stronger.

With each passing week, the student-athletes of Pueblo are battling hard to help their teams win and earn a spot on the Players of the Week list. This week’s list consists of a few familiar names on the football field, some impressive action on the soccer pitch, an insane nine RBI game of softball, and more.

Each week, the Chieftain recognizes the top student-athletes from area schools to highlight those who have performed at a high level. The Chieftain sports staff selects them. Coaches can nominate players by emailing cabdelmalek@gannett.com prior to Thursday night.
