Stevie Nicks tour to make stop at Memphis' FedExForum

Stevie Nicks, the superstar singer-songwriter and Fleetwood Mac member, will perform Oct. 28 at FedExForum.

Tickets to the concert go on sale Friday, May 19.

The Memphis date is one of 13 shows added to Nicks' current tour schedule, which also includes concerts in which she is a co-headliner alongside Billy Joel. (The Nicks-Joel tour hits Nashville's Nissan Stadium on May 19.)

Inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, first as a member of Fleetwood Mac and then as a solo artist, Nicks, 74, brought an element of ensorcelling glamor as well as a distinctive and mysterious artistic sensibility to Fleetwood Mac when she joined the long-running band in 1975. Contributing such songs as the oft-covered "Landslide" and the signature "Rhiannon" to the albums "Fleetwood Mac" and "Rumours," she helped lift the band from blues-rock cult status to multiplatinum superstardom.

The Stevie Nicks booking is the latest milestone in what so far has been a remarkable 2023 for significant women artists at FedExForum. Lizzo and Janet Jackson played the arena earlier this year, while Alicia Keys is booked for July 5 and Erykah Badu is for July 21. Nicks previously performed at FedExForum in 2017, with Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders as the opening act.

Tickets to the Stevie Nicks show go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. May 19, at ticketmaster.com and the FedExForum box office.
