Stevens Point alum and former Marquette player Joey Hauser signs two-way contract with Utah Jazz

It didn't take long for Joey Hauser to get his shot at the NBA.

Shortly after the NBA draft concluded Thursday night, Hauser's agency announced the 23-year-old had signed a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz.

That means Hauser will not only have a chance to play for the Jazz, but will also play for new Salt Lake City Stars head coach Steve Wojciechowski in the G League. After graduating from Stevens Point Area Senior High School early in 2018, Hauser enrolled at Marquette University to play for Wojciechowski and the Golden Eagles.

He played three seasons for the Spartans and averaged 14.3 points per game last year while shooting 46.5% from behind the three-point line.

In his college career, Hauser made 41.6% of his three-pointers.
