Steven Harris named Tennessee’s program manager
Tennessee announced Steven Harris will serve as the Vols’ rugby program manager.
Harris played at Tennessee from 2010-15.

COACHING EXPERIENCE
Volunteer Coach, Men’s Rugby Team at the University of Tennessee August 2021 – Present
● Member of the staff which guided the program to the Fall 2021 Division 1 Club Rugby National Championship
● Coordinated team logistics as the Team Manager at the 2022 USA Rugby 7s Collegiate Championship
● Led Wednesday morning training sessions for all backline players
Director, Tennessee Rugby Academy July 2021-July 2022
● Directed 9 volunteer coaches and 103 players across the 4 youth and high school programs fielded by the TRA
● Supported the hosting of 4 youth, collegiate, and club rugby tournaments at the Tennessee Rugby Park
● Grew the 2021 Halloween 7s youth and high school tournament to a record attendance of 19 teams
Internship, Lindenwood University September-November 2020
● Completed Army approved internship program at Lindenwood University, #4 ranked program in D1-A
● Coordinated team meals and travel for two away matches during the Spring 2021 D1-A season
● Managed the distribution of equipment and training apparel for a roster of 71 student athletes
● Remained as a volunteer member of the coaching staff through March 2021
