Stephen A. Smith went off after the Knicks didn't win the draft lottery

ESPN commentator and New York Knicks fan Stephen A. Smith is reportedly on track to make up to $10 million, and he is worth every single penny.

Because when moments such as the Knicks losing out on Zion Williamson and the No. 1 overall selection happen, this man provides us with television gold.

Let’s start with his appearance on ESPN’s morning show, “Get Up,” in which he scolded his colleagues for thinking that the Knicks drafting R.J. Barrett would be fine.

Then, on “First Take,” he bemoaned how the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies claimed the first two picks over the Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers.

This man is not OK.

The best Stephen A. rant, however, came on his own radio show afterwards, which he opened by demanding they cut off the intro music before screaming about having a “very bad day.” Watch the entire two minutes and 17 seconds, because it is performance art.

Say whatever you want about Smith’s sports takes, but you have to respect the grind and commitment to his craft. But I think the Knicks finally broke Stephen A. Smith.
