Steph Curry is ‘extremely excited’ to have Bryce Young as the Carolina Panthers QB
It’s always interesting to see athletes of different sports interact. The future Hall of Fame member of the Golden State Warriors, Steph Curry, recently revealed that he cannot wait for the 2023 NFL season to begin so he can watch Bryce Young take the field.
Curry, an avid Carolina Panthers fan, likened the hype around Young to Cam Newton, who won an MVP and carried the franchise to a Super Bowl appearance.
“Extremely excited,” Curry said of Young, via CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin. “I’m excited that we have hopefully the quarterback of the future that can lead the franchise to the heights that we (enjoyed) with Cam (Newton), and potentially get that first Super Bowl. I’m excited to watch him play. I’m rooting for him. I’m excited for the city of Charlotte to have some new excitement, some new energy around the team. I’ll be tuned in for Opening Week for sure.”
The NBA superstar isn’t alone in being excited for Young’s NFL career to get underway. Panthers fans and Alabama fans alike anxiously await the start of the 2023 season to see Young continue to dominate on the gridiron.
