Stefon Diggs among Bills players to visit Damar Hamlin at Cincinnati hospital (video)
Since the scenes unfolded surrounding the health of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, we’ve had a few updates.
Hamlin collapsed and had CPR administered on him. He then was taken to a nearby hospital.
Following a period of waiting, the Bills’ ongoing game against the Cincinnati Bengals was called off.
From there, the Bills decided to fly home to Buffalo.
But not everyone did. According to reports, some Bills players stayed behind in Cincy to be with Hamlin, who was considered to be in critical condition.
There was no word on exactly which players stayed behind. However, it appears Stefon Diggs was one of them.
Per ESPN, Diggs was one of those from the Bills locker room that ended up heading to the hospital. He is said to have taken an Uber there.
A reporter for the former world-wide leader even vouched for him with police when he got there so he could get into the facility to check in on Hamlin.
It’s unclear if Diggs stayed behind, but it seems more than likely he did.
No one else from Buffalo’s locker room was said to be at the hospital at the time of posting. There was a separate update that stated Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor was amongst those from the Bengals to appear at the hospital.
