Steelers score high on consensus NFL draft grades

Most Pittsburgh Steelers fans left the 2023 NFL draft feeling like Pittsburgh did very well. But what did the pundits and experts make of the Steelers draft haul?

We wondered as well and thankfully Rene’ Bugner did the heavy lifting for us. They put together a GPA for every NFL team’s draft based on 29 different sets of grades.

Based on their scores, the Steelers checked in with a 3.94 GPA which was second-best in the NFL. Pittsburgh scored seven A+ grades at the top and the worst was a B+ that showed up four times.

The highest GPA of the group was the Philadelphia Eagles. They scored an impressive 4.12 GPA and had no grade lower than an A-

Here is the Steelers full 2023 NFL draft class.

First round – OT Broderick Jones

Second round – CB Joey Porter Jr.

Second round – DT Keeanu Benton

Third round – TE Darnell Washington

Fourth round – LB Nick Herbig

Seventh round – CB Cory Trice Jr.

Seventh round – OL Spencer Anderson
