Steelers’ Chase Claypool wants Titans to reimburse him for rookie dinner
With the Week 4 game between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers postponed due to the former’s COVID-19 outbreak, the latter’s players are apparently planning to have a dinner instead, which of course will be paid for by the rookies.
In what is a now-deleted tweet, Steelers rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool jokingly (we think) asked that the Titans reimburse him for the dinner.

If there is frustration on the Steelers’ part — there has to be — it’s certainly understandable in a sense. After all, they didn’t have an outbreak yet have to make major changes to their schedule to accommodate the situation, like potentially having an earlier bye.
However, it’s also important to point out that, as Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger recently did when talking about the Titans’ potential lack of practice time, players knew what could happen with the season being played in the middle of a pandemic, thus nothing should be a surprise.
Furthermore, unless it can be proven that the Titans did something to spur on this outbreak by violating protocols, nobody can hold it against them.
It isn’t certain when the game will be rescheduled for as of right now, but the best bet is for it to be changed to Week 7. That’s when the Titans originally had their bye, and the Steelers-Ravens game that week can be moved to Week 8 when both teams were scheduled to have their bye.
