A statistical look at T.J. Watt’s dominant start to the NFL season
One of the best defensive players in the NFL and a former Wisconsin Badger great is off to a flying start in 2021. Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt has been fantastic through five games, and is coming off of a game-winning strip sack of Geno Smith to clinch a Steelers win over the Seahawks on Sunday night.
For his efforts, Watt was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 6.
A two-time First-Team All-Pro performer, Watt has been sensational early on in 2021. The Steelers’ Twitter account put his statistical greatness into perspective earlier today, as he is top-10 in a number of defensive categories:
