In-state WR planning gameday visit after picking offer from Florida

One of the in-state wide receivers on Florida’s 2025 recruiting board is Jayvan Boggs, and the Cocoa High pass catcher is planning on getting a closer look at the Swamp in September, according to Gators Online.

Boggs, who is ranked No. 58 among receivers in his class by On3, picked up a scholarship offer from the Gators in July for the Grill in the Ville cookout. August 1 marked the first day that coaches could reach out to Boggs’ class, and he says it’s been all love between him and Florida since then.

Of course, a handful of other Power Five programs are pushing just as hard for Boggs. Louisville, Ohio State, Penn State and UCF are a few that he named, but the list will only grow as the 2025 cycle gets more serious.

Boggs denied a top two of Florida and Ohio State but admitted that both schools were “leading the way” in his recruitment. Right now, the Gators are favored to land him by the On3 recruiting prediction machine, which gives UF 41.7% odds to sign him.

Of the four major recruiting services, only On3 has graded Boggs, which means there are no composite rankings to rely on.
