State golf tournaments tee off on Monday. Here's what you need to know.

The Kansas regional golf tournaments took place this week on Monday and Tuesday to determine who would earn the right to compete at state.

Here's what you need to know for the state meet.

Kansas high school state golf tournament information

Who: For Class 3A, the top two teams at regionals qualified for state with the top three teams in all other classes continuing their season as well. Individually, the top five lowest individual scores not on qualifying teams qualified for the state tournament.

Where: 6A: Sand Creek Station Golf Course: Newton, Kansas, 67114.

5A: Turkey Creek Golf Course: McPherson, Kansas, 67460.

4A: Quail Ridge Golf Course - Winfield, Kansas, 67156.

3A: Mariah Hills Golf Course: Dodge City, Kansas, 67801.

2A: Hesston Golf Course: Hesston, Kansas, 67062.

1A: Emporia Municipal Golf Course: Emporia, Kansas, 66801.

When: 6A: 8:30 a.m. tee time for holes 1 and 10.

5A: 8:30 a.m. tee time for holes 1 and 10 on Monday, 10 a.m. Tuesday.

4A: 9 a.m. tee time for holes 1 and 10 on Monday, 10 a.m. Tuesday.

3A: 8:30 a.m. tee time for holes 1 and 10 on Monday, 10 a.m. Tuesday.

2A: 9 a.m. tee time for holes 1 and 10 on Monday, 10 a.m. Tuesday.

1A: 9 a.m. tee time for holes 1 and 10 on Monday.

Topeka-area teams competing at state

6A

Washburn Rural

Washburn Rural (321) placed second at its regional behind Manhattan (315), with Wichita Southeast (379) rounding out the top three.

Senior Bryan Tyrell (T-4th, 79), senior Tyler Baumchen (T-7th, 80), sophomore Tadd Armstrong (T-9th, 81) and junior Hayden Glynn (T-9th, 81) scored for Washburn Rural.

5A

Shawnee Heights

The Shawnee Heights boys golf team won a regional title to qualify for state, including the top two finishers.

The Shawnee Heights boys (314) cruised to a regional title beating out Emporia (340) and Basehor Linwood (344).

Senior Alex Valdivia (72) and senior Tyler Lincoln (74) took first and second, respectively, at the regional with senior Aiden Jones (T-5th, 83) and junior Jensen Crawford (T-9th, 85) rounding out the scoring for Shawnee Heights.

Seaman

Junior Zachary Weir 85 placed ninth at regionals and was the third-lowest individual score not on a qualifying team to qualify him for state.

Topeka West

Junior Myles Alonzo (79) took third individually at regionals, qualifying for state with the best individual score not on a qualifying team.

4A

Hayden

The Hayden boys (339) took third behind Wamego (318) and Bishop Miege (322) to qualify its team for state.

Sophomore James Kuta (7th, 80), senior Noah Haverkamp (T-8th, 81), sophomore Tagen Rodriguez (T-17th, 87) and sophomore Nick Gorman (T-24th, 91) scored for Hayden.

3A

Rossville

The Rossville boys (339) took second at regionals behind Sabetha (329) to qualify for state.

Scoring for Rossville were freshman Jack Donovan (T-2nd, 79), sophomore Jonathan Hart (4th, 80), senior Kyser Lundin (T-7th, 84) and senior Manuel VanderPutten (20th, 96).

Silver Lake

Junior Bryce Badsky (77) won the individual regional title to qualify for state.

2A

Cair Paravel

The Cair Paravel boys (350) won the regional title, beating out St. Mary's Colgan (379) and Lyndon (396).

Junior Rich Helmhold (78) won the individual regional title with the low score with junior Simon Everhart (6th, 89), sophomore Jase Pavlik (7th, 90) and freshman Caleb Cleverdon (8th, 93) scoring for Cair Paravel.
