Ravenwood's Natalie Prestegaard voted Nashville area girls basketball player of the week
Ravenwood senior guard Natalie Prestegaard has been voted as the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries Nashville area girls basketball player of the week for Jan. 1-6.
Prestegaard had 24 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 59-50 win over Franklin. She also had 20 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals against Nolensville. She received 25,578 votes for 46% of the 55,637 total.
Nolensville's Sara Brakefield was second in the voting with 11,950 selections for 21.5% of the total. Brakefield had 11 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks in a 52-44 win over Ravenwood.
